Impact Kwan had missed five consecutive starts due to back discomfort and now his absence will be even longer than anticipated. The outfielder had medical tests done over the weekend, but no structural damage was present and an injured list stint was thought as not likely. In a corresponding move, Myles Straw was selected from Triple-A Columbus.
